Soda is a true all-rounder for your household! It's a simple, effective, and very versatile cleaner for your kitchen and bathroom. It has degreasing properties that make it a powerful aid in the home. Soda is tough on fats and proteins, removes green deposits and lime scale, and can, for example, also neutralize odours in laundry. Although it's so powerful against greasy and baked-on dirt, soda, as a natural mineral, is a comparatively environmentally friendly cleaning agent.
You can use soda in incredibly versatile ways. To effortlessly clean your oven, mix 20g of soda with 1L of water and pour it onto a baking tray. Then heat the oven to 100° Celsius and let it run for 15 minutes. Afterward, you can simply wipe out the oven. To make an effective all-purpose cleaner, add 1–2 tablespoons of soda to a bucket with 10L of water and mix everything well. You can then clean dirty surfaces with a sponge. Caution: This cleaner is not suitable for natural stone, marble, and polished granite, as it could damage the surfaces. Clogged drains are also no longer a problem: simply pour 80g of soda into the drain, add half a cup of vinegar, and let it sit briefly. Then rinse with hot water.
