We are not “climate neutral” — and that’s a conscious decision.
The term is misleading: many people believe a “climate-neutral” company produces no CO₂ emissions at all — but that’s simply not possible. No manufacturing company operates without emissions.
What is often called “climate neutral” usually relies on offsetting — that is, balancing emissions through environmental projects. Offsetting can make sense, but it’s no substitute for real climate action. Because climate protection is not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Our approach? Avoid emissions before they occur. And responsibly offset those that (for now) cannot be avoided. That’s why we continuously analyse, measure, and reduce our CO₂ emissions — step by step.
