To prepare your toilet cleaner as a gel, simply fill the bottle with 650 ml of warm water (about 35–40°C). Before adding the powder, shake the unopened sachet briefly or knead it with your fingers – this loosens the powder, making it easier to dissolve later. Then, cut open the sachet at the top and pour all the contents into the bottle. Close the bottle tightly and shake it vigorously for about 10 seconds.
Over the next 10 minutes, the powder will slowly turn into a gel. Since some pressure may build up during the dissolving process, open the bottle carefully and keep it away from your face. Even if you can’t see how far the powder has dissolved through the bottle, that’s no problem: it’s completely normal if it doesn’t all immediately appear fully gel-like. Some particles may take a little longer but usually dissolve completely overnight. You can still use the cleaner right away.
If you have very hard tap water, using filtered or soft water can improve the dissolving process. It’s also important that the water isn’t hotter than 40°C, as higher temperatures can disrupt the gel formation. If some residue settles at the bottom after a few hours, just shake the bottle briefly again.
After mixing, you should use the gel within three months.
